Playing Solo

If you want to play solo and don’t feel like playing online or printing out the entire playkit, you can print out the solo sheet! This puts the entire journal on one sheet of paper, nice & compact.

Gatherable Components

  • Print out the solo sheet
  • Grab a deck of cards and make the game’s deck by removing everything except for A-5 in all four suits.
  • Grab a pen or pencil to write with
  • Get two playing pieces
    • The Killer represents the specter of murder, I like to use a weapon from Clue
    • The Sleuth represents the influence of the detective, I like to use one of the pawns from Clue

When playing with the solo sheet, just write the answers you find in the investigation phase right in the borders between the suspect & clue instead of working with the answer sheet + tokens. I would still use peril tokens, but you can just draw a big skull on the suspect/answers when you’d add a peril token.
